Electone Society Launch Day (2003)

We launched the Society with a big bang by top performers Tony Back, Alex Payler, Chris Stanbury and Penny Weedon. They gave us tremendous support and we are very grateful for their encouraging words and spending the day with us. We look forward to further collaboration with them in the future.

Messages on Electone Zone Forum - building up to the Launch Day

Following David's "Electone Meetings" message (late April 2003), Chris Stanbury suggested the possibility of holding the Launch Day in London (see this message), and several people responded positively to the idea.

The Society was formally announced in mid June 2003 (see this message but note the Society is not "exclusive" )
